This blogging thing is new to Katy and me. But we figured it might be of some use. The goal is for us to post information to one spot, and everyone else can find it. Also, if you are trip planning and want to coordinate a rental car or a bus ride, this might help to coordinate when people are coming and going.
Just so we all know, a "blog" is basically a running dialogue. So any new post shows up on this web page right at the top of the list, below. So the initial post we put up with good links to Vermont information, is now all the way at the bottom. So scroll down through to find useful information. More soon,

Intro to wedding planning
Ok, wedding plan test, 1-2-3, testing, testing, wedding planning 101 here we go...
Of course, gifts are completely unnecessary and we don't want anyone to feel obliged. For the undeterred, we would like to suggest a few options:
For a non-profit donation, our favorite non-profit is Backyard Harvest, in Moscow, Idaho. They glean vegetable gardens and fruit trees to donate fresh produce to food banks. (Katy did her graduate work on this organization, and the director is a good friend: backyardharvest.org)
Most of all, a congratulatory word when we next see you, a letter in the mail, or your presence at our wedding is most important.
How do I get to and from the airport?
Great question. The best airports to fly into are Logan in Boston, and the Manchester airport in New Hampshire. The Dartmouth Coach runs to and from White River Junction and Manchester, and Greyhound runs to and from White River Junction and Boston. You can look these schedules up, but we're also going to post these schedules this weekend, Solstice weekend. We plan to rent a car or two to shuttle folks, and for folks to shuttle folks, to and from the bus stations and the "Prime Homestead" (wedding site) in White River Junction.
